White Walls #39: The Annual Winter Show!

Hello everyone,

I hope you and yours are staying safe in these ongoing days of the pandemic. It has been gray and rainy here in New England, but we are staying safe and staying home, so we are trying to make the season bright, warm, and cozy. I'm really happy to be back this week with my annual winter show! Like the past few years, I'm playing lots of my favorite seasonal songs, including Sarah McLachlan, Sufjan Stevens, Dolly Parton, John Denver, and Reba McEntire. These songs are all dear to me, and I hope they help to put you in the holiday spirit this year.

White Walls #38: Cozy Autumn Show

Hello everyone,

I'm really happy to bring you this week's White Walls show - creating it was a wonderful way to get away from the ongoing pandemic and the surging cases everywhere. Autumn is my favorite season and it's been an especially vibrant and beautiful one here in New England, so my goal with this week's show was to bring you some cozy music to curl up with, maybe under a blanket or by a fire. It features several songs by a new favorite of mine, the Way Down Wanderers, along with great music from The Chicks, Mipso, and Small Glories, and many more! 

This weekend is a special one on SpiritPlants Radio - it's the 17th Anniversary Weekend! There are a lot of great shows this celebratory weekend, so I hope you go check them out! And congratulations to everyone who has been involved in this great labor of love for so long - good job!!

As this pandemic rages on around us, I hope all of you and your loved ones are staying safe. Here's to a safe Thanksgiving this year, so that we're all around to enjoy it together next year.

White Walls #37: Another Summer Show

Hi there,

It is officially summertime here, and I'm really excited to tell you about the newest White Walls! This week's show features brand new songs from some favorite artists, like The Lowest Pair, Wild Rivers, and Lee Henke, plus more great music from The Dead Tongues, The Western Den, and The Small Glories. I was going for a slow-take-it-easy-in-the-summertime feel - I hope you enjoy it!

White Walls #36: The Pandemic Show

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all safe and hunkered down in these strange times of the pandemic. What better time to listen to some new music? I'm excited to share my new show with you, featuring lots of sweet and some melancholy music that seems to fit this time well. New (to me) artists like Caamp, Quiet Arrows, and Ordinary Elephant join favorites like Mandolin Orange and Dead Horses.

It's springtime here in New England, and being outside (safely distanced, of course) is good for us all. I hope you enjoy this new show, and I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.
