White Walls #55: Annual Winter Show!

 Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying December. It has been very chilly the past couple days here in New England, and I couldn't think of anything better to do than to listen to some warm, seasonal music. So that's what I'm playing this week on my annual winter show! Again this year, I'm playing lots of my favorite seasonal songs, including Sufjan Stevens, Sarah McLachlan, Reba McEntire, Mark O'Connor, and many others. I hope listening brings you joy and warmth this December!

This weekend is the annual Season of Lights weekend on SpiritPlants Radio this weekend, so be sure to check out the whole schedule! It is a fun schedule and I'm sure you'll enjoy tuning in at any point all weekend!

White Walls #54: Autumn Again

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. It's late November, and after a very dry autumn so far, we finally had some rain here in New England, and it's a windy, damp, and chilly evening tonight. I cannot think of better weather to sit and listen to my new show. This week, I'm featuring a nice mix of some of my favorite artists, like Wild Rivers, Ordinary Elephant, Jennifer Knapp, and Valley Maker. I think it's a sweet and quiet and fun mix, and I hope you all enjoy it.

White Walls #53: A Summer Show!

Hi everyone,

It's been a very warm and humid summer here in New England. In other words, a great time to be inside listening to good music! I'm excited to share my next show with you! It has some old songs by favorites like Edie Carey, plus some new tracks by favorites like Wild Rivers, Ruth Moody, and Jenn Grant. Pretty, fiddly, angry - a little bit of everything this time, just to fit the times around us.

White Walls #52: Spring

 Hi everyone,

I hope your year is going well so far! It is a beautiful spring here in New England - plenty rainy enough that everything is bright green, dark fertile soil, beautiful buds everywhere. I'm excited to share this week's show with you! As often, I'm playing some longtime favorites, like Sufjan Stevens, River Whyless, and the Crane Wives, but I have some new(ish) to me finds this time too: Valley Maker, Great Grandpa, and Jamestown Revival. Lots of fiddly bluegrass, rainy gray day songs as my beloved says :) my favorite kind!
